The Perak GP - Teluk Intan leg is coming to the final seventh round. On the top board, Fong Yit San is playing against the top seed, Anthony Liong Ing Kiat. The latter succumbed to a defeat by Syakir in earlier round. While in the sixth round, Yit San beat Syakir to lead by 1/2 point with 5.5 points.
